Introduction
This is an epic power fantasy Adult Visual Novel that takes place in a modernized setting. It focuses on plot development, lore, and deep relationships. You can expect lots of action packed scenes and deep intimacy!

Synopsis
Many years ago, the world was graced with the presence of gods and goddesses that made living a mortal life easy and fun. However, that's not the case anymore, as a series of events has left the world without a divine presence for hundreds of years. With very few people being able to use magic, mortals turned to industrialization and technology to simulate the functions of the deities the best that they can.
Follow the story of a young man who's getting sick of how bland it can be inside of this modern industrial world ruled by a tyrant king when he suddenly receives divine power. With this change comes tough decisions, passionate romance, heartbreak, and so much more! Decide how these powers should be used and slowly change the world, for better or worse, but be wary; there are other Scions receiving divine power, each with their own ambitions!

I mean, I don't disagree.
He had to get a "cleaner" look for his corporate job though. It's subject to change as time passes in the story. Might even go back to the more ragged hair from the past.

Really? losing affection to a character that has no idea you're eavesdropping... just to see a scene.
You may have commented a little too soon and already realized this, but I'll clarify things anyways. You lose affection because the MC confesses to it shortly after. It's just a few points anyhow. There'll be plenty of opportunities to get them back.
I realized that few minutes after posting. She's kind of a dick at the start lmfao so I been mostly going backwards with her affection points. Wasn't trying too but just kinda ended up that way.
Great start to an AVN didn't feel like I was playing typical perverted AVN like 98% of the trash on itch. I see this being as good as Crossing Realms even Eternum.
In all fairness I had to really think about the point deduction on that choice. I did it the way it is since he's morally ambivalent at that point in the story.
I will take much more care with the points system moving forward.
Also, I'm glad you enjoyed overall! I'm aiming for more of a romance story, so perversion just didn't really fit.

NO, very VERY GOOD.
THAT was a quiet a lot of game, for V.1 of this game.
But because it IS so good, I will share my only two criticisms.
First and foremost... the cliffhanger is so passe a trope by now, that unless Astara is actually GOING TO DIE, which I think we all know she is NOT, then that was VERY weak ending. I honestly would suggest that escaping, and then rendezvousing with Kate back with Veronica, at some place safe, and just starting to get her story about who was involved and what happened would have been FAR better a place to end this chapter. If we ended on the almost revelation.. right when an early piece of the burgeoning puzzle was about to be dropped in to place through something Kate learnt from what happened to her... but then it ended... well THAT is how you could truly create a hunger for more, and excitement for the next chapter. This is just too good of a release, at least as just a chapter one.. to be let down by the cliche cliffhanger ending.
Two, and this might be controversial, and a lot of devs hate it when I say this, but I will die on this hill... and that is, that the A part of an AVN is THE most important part of defining the game. What do I mean by that? Ok, well perhaps you just came up with a cool story you want to tell.. and perhaps building the relationships between the MC and the supporting cast of characters is important, and perhaps some tension, so sexual attraction, some emotional complications, can add to that. Fine. But ironically, there are tropes which are GOOD for that. There is NOTHING wrong with either visual or narrative retrospective implication, or shadow play, or short soft-core montage (think something like the Brothel scenes in Witcher three but perhaps even without the nudity), symbolism, or even the good old fashioned Fade To Black. You could have all those dynamics, including the romantic/sexual elements adding depth/complication/risk/tension, and NOT need to make your story 'Adult' in the context of how that word is used for game tags, and in relation to an AVN.
Which always makes me think that either A) the Dev WANTS there to be explicit Adult scenes in the game, or perhaps there is narrative reason for it that demands it be shown, not just told (the MC is at rock bottom, after being divorced for constant philandering, and is trying to be a better man... but that ONE thing he CANNOT shake, not matter how much he grows, is voracious sexual desires, and rationalizing it away when he acts on them even if it hurts someone.. or even hurts him)... or B) they do NOT have the FAITH their story can stand on its own, narrative, merit, so decide to throw in some cheap thrills sex scenes, to be afforded the naughty tag, and suck in people who come in the hope of perversion.. because they hold the hope those people will like their story.
I am not saying this is the case, or which of A or B is the case if one is.... but I will say this: For an AVN with a chapter one THIS long and intricate, with this much happening... no actual adult scenes is, to me, a definite weakness here. This game so far, is just the initial introductory chapter, setting up the story... but it IS spread across what, 10 sub-chapters? Many of THEM are longer the some complete chapters of many AVNs. Yet in that time, we get one quickie fellatio scene, which then turns in to a c*ck-blocked scene, and what, some digital electro-clitoral stimulation?
At the very least there should have been at least ONE proper scene... from a developer standpoint to reward the players, and make the statement this IS an AVN, from a players standpoint, to be rewarded for playing the game, and to get an idea, a taste, of what thee adult content of the game will be like, and from an artistic standpoint, to commit, with some degree of sincerity, to the genre which the game claims to be.
As things stand now, as exceptionally impressed as I am with this first chapter, I am likely NOT going to continue playing this game, or bother with it at all, because I play AVNs for the A bit. There's PLENTY of just plain old VN games out there, and some even have scenes almost on par with the limited ones in this first chapter, though done JUST reservedly enough for those games NOT to have the Adult tag on most platforms, but rather a Mature Content one. As someone who is a gamer of over 45+ years experience, someone who is a Gen-One, Dawn-Of, Day 0, gamer, just me, personally, well I probably will not take this game seriously, and perhaps see it as a weaker option in the genre, because there IS, and people might argue, but I dismiss any such arguments... an IMPLIED DECLARATION of the NATURE of the game, when it uses the Adult tag, or is classed as an AVN. If a game then does not honour that implication, I either need assume it is a poor game, or I am dealing with a disingenuous developer.
Anyway, I hope you will not be offended, and take this as the constructive criticism it is meant to be.
(P.S. 3rd teeny tiny gripe... you should change Astara's motorcycle model from Sport bike, to an ADV bike or Dual Sport bike... aint no way squidy machine getting over those dunes, making it that far out in to a desert... that snapped me right out of the immersion :P ).
Thank you for such an in-depth comment, there's a lot to get through here, but I'll try to keep it short.
To the first point. I completely agree that the cliffhanger is a bit underwhelming and cliche. I'll be working on better ones for future chapters.
To the second point. This is all your opinion. To me all three parts of an AVN are equally important; the A, V, and N should all be given careful attention and be implemented in a way that each one enhances the other to make the whole. Myself and many other players enjoy the A a lot more when there is a connection and we get some kind of emotional pay-off from it because we are attached to the characters. The N part can build that up, thus enhancing the A part.
My MC has issues in Ch. 1 when it comes to dealing with women and just barely starts to break away from that by the end of the chapter. Plus, he barely knows any one of them, with the exception of Layla. You later mention that you care about immersion, well, would it not be immersion breaking for the MC with these particular issues to be a horn-dog and just hook up with all of these people he barely met? I'm sorry, but I'm not going to ruin the vision of my game by turning it into another constant f-fest. There will be a LOT more A content in the future, but at the moment it makes no sense narratively for my game to be that way.
To the third point. It would also be immersion breaking that Astara, someone who lives in a big city, just happens to own a vehicle perfectly suited to the environment that she has to go to this one time. It might have been difficult, but that motorcycle is what she had, and it's not impossible that it could make it to where it did for several reasons. Especially, when you factor in what her power is.
All-in-all, there's some solid feedback in here that I will take into consideration, but I'm not going to rescope my project into a mindless horny game where there is more A action than there is actual story. If that makes me lose some players, so be it.
I would not deign to tell you how to make your game. Let me get that right off the bat.
Working in reverse order, that comment about the bike was not really anything important... though as someone with teeny tiny little bit of experience on two wheels... there are a LOT of people who actually DO ride things like Triumph Tigers or BMW GS's in cities, precisely because they DO roll solo, and roam a lot, including some rough stuff. That is just my bike nerd, it aint a thing, but just since you said it was unrealistic.
On the first point, sounds like you already get it, and given the quality of the narrative offered so far, I think that is not to be unexpected, so perhaps my criticism was unwarranted, at this early stages. Perhaps I might even check out the later chapters one day, for that part.
Now to the main thing. I would not suggest that ANYONE make a game with MORE sex scenes than story... and I do not know ANY which ever have... but I might be missing some. Certainly there are few pay games using their own engines on other cites which are centred around being sex-sandboxes... but for the MOST part, MOST Adult games do not do that. However, I will suggest that the degree to which we encounter such scenes, as gamers who are looking for adult games, DOES inform us about WHAT kind of game it is, to what degree that A part is actually necessary. I am not alone, though many other people do not bother saying so, but I have a lot of AVNs and speak in a lot of discussions about them across multiple platforms....in believing that the first chapters, of such games, really do inform and set the tone for the adult element of the game. Likewise, the scenes of that nature, do so for the rest of the game to come. It might seem like it is immersion breaking, but the flimsy pretext, long drawn bows, tenuous reasoning, and all the narrative contortions which are in a lot of such games to justify there being adult scenes even early on.
It might be anathema to the quality immersive narrative otherwise aimed for, but it is NEEDED, indeed, to justify those encounters, and those encounters are needed, for pacing. If you AVN is more focused on the VN element, than the A element, it is not, but if the A element really is just as important as much a part of the game... pacing is also important. Back Loading the action, because the MC has finally gotten to understand his circle, they he, his powers, his role his life, and gotten closer to people, which is more realistic.... also means that the spread of the adult content, is skewed massively towards the back end of the game. At least in my play experience with such games which go this way. That actually means that vast swathes of the game, especially early on, are even actually bereft of any meaningful adult content. That is not a subjective thing, I think. If that element of the game IS actually JUST as important as the other elements, the narrative, that immersive, engaging story, and the visuals and aesthetic and story telling through art...then it should be present throughout the game to some degree too.
Personally, and again, I know I am not alone in this from many discussions across many AVNs on this and other sites, whilst one may not need go as cray cray with the loose AF justification gymnastics as games where the MC winds up sleeping with his mother... and sister... and other sister... and cousin... and teacher... and doctor.. and neighbour... and neighbours wife... and everyone else's wife... and all the nuns... and their wives... etc etc... even a being a little wild, and unrealistic, if it means facilitating consistency and pacing of the adult content, is BETTER than AVN trying to be so realistic, it is a slow burn, back loaded, and end of game, with all the adult content, because the rest of the game was the MC realistically establishing those relationships.
Again, not telling you to DO anything, or saying how you SHOULD make your game. Just giving you criticism, meant to be constructive, and some food for thought, by pointing out what will potentially alienate at least SOME of the gamers who play AVNs and who might otherwise play this, and support it. Like it or not, agree or not, there IS a whole sector of AVN players, for whom the A bit is as important, or even MORE so, than anything else, and expect a certain level of it, and spread of it, in any gaming meant to be an AVN. And like I, some of these people will give this game a try, but then form opinions, based solely on this first chapter, as to what the rest of the game will be like. Some of them will conclude it is NOT really much of an AVB... perhaps a lower case...aVN because there is only going to be a little adult content. As I said, if that is actually the case, or you consider the A to be not very important, then this does not matter.
Anyway, it was nice little start, a bit too lean for me, so I will maybe tag it and check back in a couple of years and see what it became but otherwise step out now, but do not misinterpret my criticisms as my trying to somehow cajole you in to making a Gonzo Porn game with tooth floss narrative fluff simply used to join the explicit sex together. That was not my point at all. Thanks for the reply.
Like you said in your first comment, you'll die on this hill. So, I'm not trying to change the way you feel about anything.
What I will say, is this game is planned to have romance, which means, yes, a lot of the Main LIs will be slow burns to various degrees. That's why I have side characters to fill the gaps, who won't be so focused on the romance.

I understand that it's kind of a big ask to port it to Android devices but is that on the horizon at all? I typically play these games on my tablet while in bed but if not, I have no qualms with playing it on my desktop in the meantime.
I've already got Chapter 2 set up to package things into different archives to make it easier to make an android port. Chapter 2 is going to be larger than the first, so I expect it'll be over the 2gb limitation of apk files. A little more research has to be done on my end for subverting that size limit.
I do plan to have an android release with Chapter 2. For now though, if you want to play it on android, check into JoiPlay. It worked well for me.
Did you realize that you can't be searched for in itch? I've barely started and I was going to leave a review(still am), tried to look for you. I never leave a review this early in a AVN. Most start off bumpy(like mine) this one has been smooth all the way. Incredibly well done.

Blown away at how quickly you took to it. It was a bit of a learning curve for me.
I have a background in indie development, so I have a slight advantage. Although, this is my first time working on a VN, in the Ren'Py engine, and working with 3D to this extent.
All that to say, don't get discouraged. Everyone has to start somewhere and if you stick with it, you'll only improve! I'll be wishing the best of luck for you and your own project!
Oh I'm not but thanks. The challenge is half the fun. Its trying to figure out how to get it seen that I'm terrible at. I'm unsure if I will ever fully grasp marketing. Also understanding itch considers a "major update" is confusing, I botched that on my first update by releasing it too early. .

Plans for Android?
There was plans for android, but I don't want to disappoint people when it gets over 2gb and making an apk version gets very complicated, not just for me but all the players to install as well.
Might I recommend JoiPlay? It's an emulator that is capable of running the win/linux version. I've loosely tested it myself with my own game and it worked surprisingly well. It even used the android formatting (which needs a lot of work at the moment).

I already have the systems in place to track stats of side characters exactly the same as main ones for specifically this reason. If it is requested enough, I will change her into a main LI.
I will say though, even if she doesn't make the cut to be a main LI, most of the side-characters will have their own sort of romance and plotlines to follow if you choose to. Rayne is already planned to be one such character.
Does this mean that the current six Lis only play a larger role in the main storyline, while the harem ending might include some side characters, like Rayne?
The six main LIs and majority of the side characters will all be important to the main storyline and yes, the harem ending will include all main and side characters that you pursue.
I may be misunderstanding what you're asking though, so feel free to elaborate or correct me if that's the case.
